This blog is designated to inform the public about the three major candidates running for Lieutenant Governor of California from the Green party, the Republican party, and the Democratic party.
Walfred- I would vote For Gavin Newsom, i have been folowing him since his candidacy for governor, and nbow for lietunant Governor. As mayor of San Francisco he has decrease the number of Homeless and gavehis imcumbents access to affordable healthcare. Also he is the leading politician in rights for the LBGT community. he was one the first to grant civil union to same sex couples. Further on he is a progressive on immagration and has fought for rights to illegal immigrants. He was one of the first to propose driver licenses for illegal immigrants
i would vote for scott levitt. although he is a republican i like his ideals. he recognizes the big issues going on, such as crime. and by increasignthe punishment will help decrease the crime rate and he cares for the children.i also like his approach on education. he wants to do something about the budget cuts because he knows it affects everybody not just the teachers. as for taxes he wants to reduce it ebcause he knows in a timeof financial harships, it's difficult for families to pay for taxes, so thats why i would vote for scott levitt. -phi
I would vote for Gavin Newsom because not only is he endorsed by many different newspaper organizations, but he also has a strong stance on protecting and preserving the evironment. He is for gay rights and same sex marriages. He is very liberal and knows how to combat the immigrants in CA today while also staying very reasonable towards the solution as well.
I would vote for Gavin Newsom because not only does he have experience but he was the first person to grant civil unions to gay communities. He also is a liberal which i like because it just shows that he is open minded and understands the realities if California. -Tekly
I would vote for Gavin Newsom becuase he has enough experience to be a good lieutant governer and is endorsed by many people. I like how he is very fair and reasonable with his views on several issues like immigration.
