Jimi Castillo was born in Whittier, California. Among his Native American tribe he is known as the Pipe Keeper and also the one who leads the Sun Dance. As the candidate for the Lieutenant governor he is the representative of the Green party. He has military experience from serving as a marine in the Vietnam war. He shows much respect for his Native American people as the spiritual leader who supports native tribes and other Native American associations. He also cares much for the environment and is a strong advocate of environmental protection (policy). His interest are not just in the environment. He also carries a strong domestic policy for the good of the people.
