If I were able to vote in the upcoming June primary elections for California Lieutenant Governor I would not vote for Newsom, nor would I vote for the other two candidates. I would instead vote for Janice Hahn because I like her as an overall candidate. I am very in line with her policies and support what she wants to do with the economy, education, the environment, and local governments. I think she is also a positive change because if she won, she would be the first woman to be Lieutenant Governor. He experiences as a women can also provide help for her policies and such. I greatly agree with her education policy and feel that she holds a strong policy compared to the candidate I researched, Gavin Newsom. She has a lot of local support and state-wide support through endorsements and in endorsements she can also hold her own in comparison to Newson's endorsements. I also support Hahn over Newsom becuase they agree in most everything else, and Hahn focuses more on education, which is what I really care about at this point since I am going to be there next year.
